Bill Atkinson – Business Owner
Bill an ex Army officer, achieved the position of Major, served with Duke of Wellington’s till joining the Royal Military Police in 1982. Served 4 tours in NI, also a UN tour in Cyprus. As Provost Marshal he also ran the multi-service police unit in the Falklands. Played rugby for the Army and Combined Services. Served on the Commonwealth Games committee for the Edinburgh Games .
Then when leaving the army entered the corporate world and develop his management and leadership skills with in several large corporations and various business sectors, including manufacturing, financial services before becoming independent in early 2000 and setting up P3 Leadership, a business management and leadership training consultancy.
He now helps clients define, diagnose and resolve their people, project and performance problems. Bill has worked for a broad range of clients and continues to find similar issues across all sectors.
Bill clients have included Standard Life, Diageo, Greater Manchester Police, Inland Revenue, SEPA, a number of Housing Associations and the National Library of Scotland. Bill also works in the Far East. Bill is currently working as a part-time consultant to a precision engineering firm.
