Bob Davidson – Chief Executive
Bob gained his 1st degree in Business Economics & Marketing at Paisley Tech’ back in 1990. Following a successful placement with Chivas, his diverse career continued in drinks with Whyte & Mackay then Diageo where he was sponsored through a MBA with Strathclyde Graduate Business School. Bob moved on in ‘97 to Sky, and then Morris and Spottiswood, where he gained an Executive Diploma in the Management of SMEs. 2 years later he joined forces with 2 Whyte & Mackay Directors and became a partner with RESCU Solutions, a supply chain and contract packing consultancy. After a short spell with Forth Wines as interim Supply Chain Director he took up his current position as CEO with Renfrewshire Chamber. In his role, Bob is responsible for a team of 7 and over 410 members, representing 30,000 employees across Renfrewshire, providing a range of networking events, services and advice to help local businesses grow and develop their business.
As the youngest Chamber CEO, Bob is known for being very hands on and has worked in or headed up all main business departments. He believes firmly in doing your best at all times, using common sense and when appropriate, having some fun.
